-
- It's sort-of supported. Apparently Oxxi will continue Amiga support and
- development until they can't afford to keep an Amiga specific programmer
- on staff. However, from what I understand their technical support is hard
- to reach at the best of times.

-
- Twist 2 is excellent, but lacks a few items that I really need -- specifically
- the ability to use external databases to create a distinct stored result. To
- try to clarify that, I have a price database, and a sales database. If I want
- to store a total sale combined from prices inherited from the price database
- in the sales db, I can't do it. I can create a form and report and have those
- display the total, but not save the final result as a record. Quite annoying.
-
- Another irritation is that there's no way of handling a one time variable.
- Say I have a sale on a particular day and I want to store that as one of
- the fields. I can either have the person entering the sale enter the date
- (which seems pointless) or use a built in function for the date. The problem
- with the latter is that it will always change rather than keep the inital
- entry.
